The fact that you have chosen to view this site means you have an interest in the future of Kentucky. Our Commonwealth is currently in crisis. We remain ranked in the lowest percentile of every national statistic including but not limited to health, education, child welfare and economic status. Our unemployment rate is at an all time high; our poverty ranking has increased from 15.4% to 17.3 percent over the past 8 years under both a Republican and Democrat administration, marking us as the 5th poorest state in our nation. Former administrations have been plagued by ongoing scandal and indictment. A culture of corruption has developed within our leadership and only those who “pay to play” are accepted in inner circles or allowed input. We have continued to elect the same candidates time and time again into the same offices or new ones, while our standard of living grows worse. Recent media reports tell us there is more bad news on the way. As Kentuckians you deserve better, you deserve more and you deserve a leadership team that will face the tough times ahead with honesty, integrity and genuine concern to provide solutions that work. Together we can restore Kentucky to prosperity.
We have chosen to run as Independents – free from any party affiliation. We have no hidden agendas. We offer you a chance to elect an administration that will serve towards the betterment of Kentucky. As candidates our focus will be to put Kentucky’s values first. Our goals include many ideas inspired by input from the people who know best. To accomplish our goals we must rely on you to become involved and Vote for real change. If you, like us are tired of the way things are done, then the Gatewood & Riley 2011 ticket is your only choice November 1st, 2011.
This election will prove to be the most historic election in Kentucky history. Kentucky can step forward by electing a leadership team that will serve our Nation as an example of how government can work for the people, by the people. Our focus includes a regional approach to Economic Development, advanced Energy Development (Bio-Industrial Development) Industry, Education, integrated progressive Technology advancement and appropriate stewardship of our vast Natural Resources.
